HAWKS IN TRAINING

Baby Hawks is for boys and girls ages 5- 8. We provide comprehensive basketball instruction centered around teamwork and igniting the passion for the game.

GROW OUR GAME

This is our group for young girls to learn
about basketball at an early age. Led by
Junior Knicks Coach of the Year Chiene
Jones.

ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL

Elite-level and developmental teams
playing in nationally-recognized AAU
tournaments. The elementary and middle
school program includes three girls’
teams and 10 boys’ teams. All of our elite-level teams are amongst the top teams in
the nation.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMMING: OUR LEGACY

Over the years, the program has been able to produce elite-level talent alongside high-character individuals.

RIVERSIDE COLLEGE BOUND

Riverside College Bound (RCB) is an initiative that works
with the Hawks’ male and female student-athletes in 10th, 11th and 12th grade
to ensure they are supported through the college application and
recruiting process. The program is based on our belief that basketball can
be used as an effective hook to engage student-athletes from all
backgrounds to increase opportunities for college enrollment and
success. All teams spend time at a cultural institution and visit colleges
that student-athletes understand that these trips are more valuable than
simply basketball.

RIVERSIDE IMPACT TEAM

The Riverside Hawks Impact team is a new initiative that was just introduced in 2019. The members of this team are selected based on an essay and income criteria, as well as skill. These activities are dedicated to exposing our student-athletes to elite academic possibilities through basketball. Over the past two years, our Impact team has made meaningful strides on and off the court. All these student-athletes were actively recruited by DII and DIII college coaches and are now at colleges with academic and athletic scholarships.

RIVERSIDE SELECT

Former Riverside Hawks coach Zach Kuba is returning to the Church to lead the Select leg of Riverside’s high school basketball program. Riverside Select will provide support and help place high performing student athletes who aspire to play at the next level at some of the top academic institutions (NESCAC, UAA, etc.) in the country.

As the Head Coach of Riverside Select, Kuba will lead players in this specialized leg of the program through a comprehensive team development model, focused on individual progress as well as regular team practices. The Select team members will be part of Riverside’s College Bound initiative that includes customer academic support sessions and workshops designed to prepare its players for both the athletic and academic rigors of college
